Bandwidth adaptation scheme in AVB protocol is proposed to achieve low latency in industrial networks. The proposed algorithm is combined with AVB protocol for an application of industrial Ethernet. It provides an enhancement of real-time transmission of the industrial networks with audio and video including the number of packet errors in the destination node. The simulation results show reduction in the end-to-end delay and enhancement in the throughput for real-time Audio/Video traffic in industrial environments.
