This paper proposes delay-aware routing scheme to reduce end-to-end delay for multi-hop underwater acoustic sensor networks (UASNs). In the proposed scheme, based on packet transmission delay and channel statistics estimation, source node chooses the best node as its appropriate and reliable relay node for packet transmission. Simulation results demonstrate effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
