Abstract—In this paper, a digital data-hiding technique in
audio signal based on Rounding Reduced-Arc M-Ary Phase Shift
Keying (MPSK) is presented. The signal samples of the audio file
are divided into several frames and then transformed into the
frequency domain using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). The data
is embedded into the phase element of the selected samples using
the concept of rounding of the traditional Phase Shift Keying
(PSK) technique. Two modified modulation schemes (256-PSK
and BPSK) are used for the embedding process to compare the
effects modulation order used in the system. Genetic Algorithm
(GA) is then applied to find the best parameters combination for
robust and transparent data-hiding system. Simulation results
show that the proposed data-hiding technique produces high
quality embedded audio while loading a huge amount of secret
data.
