Authors proposed the model sensor unit consumed the more power for data communication, please includes the any case study with or without model energy consumption profiles based on experimental studies and also justify the model.

Authors includes the innovative idea, related to this already so many existing research emphasis in this area.

Comments:
The authors are presenting a paper on routing in wireless sensor networks to optimize the energy profile. The topic is not in-line with IEEE sensors as the sensor node is even not taken into account, and moreover the experimental evaluations are based only on simplistic simulation instead of realistic experimental evaluation that today are possible with many commercial sensor nodes on the market that can be bought for few dollars.

In particular, the major issues are:
1) the introduction does not highlight the scientific contribution and the novelty of this paper. The contribution mentioned is the basic contributions that every paper on routing and protocol are claiming. The related work section includes only very old paper and not liked to IEEE Sensors.

2) The model proposed is not supported by any experimental evaluation, so it is hard to evaluate the benefits only with a simple simulation

3) The comparison with state of the art with experimental results is not shown

4) I don't see the connection with any sensor node. This is not suitable for IEEE Sensors.
