Abstract: This paper presents a group managing method of VANET using acceleration information. The proposed algorithm reduces the network load on VANET protocol using vehicle velocity, acceleration speed, and direction of close node information. The simulation results show the performance enhancements in terms of a end-to end delay, overall throughput.
