Abstract: This paper discuss a transmission scheme for naval control network systems for an enhancing throughput with reduced the round trip time considering real time traffic. Estimated experimental traffic and average traffic are compared each other for finding optimal message transmission time to avoid traffic congestion and performance degradation. For experimental tests and performance analysis, an estimated traffic is measured 10, 20, and 30 slots per 100 ms period for estimating average traffic and round trip time using the developed simulation tool. Simulation results shows that the proposed scheme performs well in heavy load traffic of naval control systems using its optimal message transmission time.
