Abstract This paper proposes a method called BTIR (Beize curve Technique for Image Reconstruction) for image reconstruction by using Bezier Curve function. This method is compared with conventional methods like compressive sampling and discrete Fourier transform (DFT). Compressive sampling is a method which has small amount of sampled data, and DFT technique is adopted to perform Fourier transform for many applications in digital signal processing. One of reasons which causes degrade the reconstructed image quality is lack of samples. In order to solve that problem, this paper proposes the method by using Bezier Curve to interpolate data between sampling points to reduce the consequence. The result shows that image reconstruction using Bezier curve is close to the original image in comparison with related methods.
