This paper proposes an IEEE 802.11ax as emerging standard of WSN technology. In this paper, a feasibility analysis of IEEE 802.11ax in industrial application refers to several things requirements for industrial application including reliability, processing time, cost and energy is provided. In addition, the comparison between IEEE 802.11ax with existing network protocol is provided to analyze the differences between WSN medium transmission. Based on the analysis, the opportunities and future challenges of IEEE 802.11ax to evaluates some issues are also discussed.
