This paper proposes a visible light communication (VLC) technology in smart medical assistance to reduce negative effects of RF-based wireless communication. In this paper, a feasible implementation of VLC in the field of smart health care is provided. A novel network architecture is proposed to connect VLC in smart medical assistance. In addition, the possibility of edge computing technology has been considered to improve the network performance of the smart medical assistance architecture. The opportunities and future challenges of VLC to enhance the quality of smart medical assistance are also discussed.

Q&A

Q : can i see the application slide (vital sign slide), so how about the data transmisson?, i mean is it just one way communication for the transmitter in the bottom to receiver or any other?

A : for vital sign monitoring , the device only transmit the data to receiver or one way communication , but in other application like patient monitoring (change other slide), there are two way or bidirectional communication between the device and the led, cause the led it also inform the actual position of the led node to patient.

Future work : Make a experimental or simulation result
