This paper proposes provisioning Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) as a fog node to support Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications. UAV deployed as a fog node has several advantages since it can reach remote area . This is because UAV has mobility on it. Therefore, this paper presents scenarios of UAV as fog nodes such as for monitoring underwater and ground pipeline. Moreover, this paper elaborates several challenges and solutions for UAV as a fog node which appropriate to support IIoT applications.
