This paper proposes a comparison of Routing Information Protocol (RIP) and Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) protocols applied to an Industrial Wireless Area Network (WAN) with path reliability and latency as metrics. Channel optimization has been done to lessen the interference in the network. This will be simulated using Packet Tracer. It is concluded that EIGRP provides a reliable path than RIP.
