This paper is about developing a remote power control and monitoring system using CAN. In order to apply CAN to the remote power control network, a control board for CAN was developed and a program for this purpose was developed. The CAN used for the configuration of the remote power supply control system was equipped with high-speed CAN according to ISO 11898 standard. All devices configured in the remote power control system are equipped with control boards for CAN and communicate status information and control commands through this board. Also, in order to secure the operational safety of this system, a network is configured as a master / slave type by applying network redundancy.
The remote power control system developed through this study satisfies the performance above target. It has been applied to upper systems with excellent performance.
