Biological Dragonfly Perspective for URLLC in Industrial Wireless Network

The dependence of industrial communication on high-reliability and low-latency wireless networks inspires a novel optimization technique, which is based on the swarm intelligence and its optimization, for Ultra Reliable Low Latency Communication, called the Ultra-Biological Dragonfly Algorithm (U-BDA). The main inspiration for this originates from the behavior of biological dragonflies: static and dynamic swarming. The two essential phases of optimization: exploration and exploitation were designed by modelling the characteristics of biological dragonflies as they search for food and avoid enemies. By examining the algorithm performance with various test functions, the UBDA was found to converge to a global optimum, and compared to other bio-inspired evolutionary algorithms, was much more reliable and efficient.
