ABSTRACT - In this paper, a transmission redundancy scheme for naval combat system using RSTP-Portfast. The proposed scheme implements the multicast traffic redundancy function and improves the convergence time until error detection and recovery. The performance of the proposed scheme is confirmed by measuring the average convergence time and generating a switch failure. Simulation results that the convergence time until error detection and recovery is less than 1 second.
