Conventional modulation classification (MC) techniques performs satisfactorily for additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channels, but the classification accuracy degrades in multipath fading channels, i.e. multiple reflective and scattered paths. Therefore, convolution deep residual networks (DRN) based MC, called as C-MC-UR, is proposed which is tested and evaluated with standard data sets for beyond 5G in multipath fading channels, in terms of classification accuracy and computing time. Simulation results shows that proposed scheme significantly outperforms the existing convolution neural networks as well DRN based MC, in terms of having higher classification probability and shorter computing time.
